Parade Route 
South Pasadena Weather Report Festival of Balloons web site Instructions- Leaders check-in at the corner of Oxley and Fairview at 9:30 am
- Scouts assemble at the corner of Diamond and El Centro at 10:00am
- March in the parade to Garfield Park from 11:00 am to noon
- Work at shift at the Troop Food Booth in Garfield Park

Troop 139 will be at the front of the parade both as the parade color guard and also as the first entry in the parade. Full Class A uniform with Merit Badge Sash is required for the parade.
Dress sharp – the parade is televised on South Pasadena's Cable TV Channel 19.
This is a fun experience that counts for two activity credits.
Festival of Balloons Schedule
7:00 am to 11:00 am – Pancake Breakfast at the Fire Dept.
10:00 am – Assemble for parade
10:30 am – Pre-Parade Ceremonies
11:00 am – Start of Parade
There will be food available and activities at Garfield Park following the parade:
• Sack Race
• Egg Race
• Three-legged Race
• Tug-of-War
• Water Balloon Toss
• Three activity booths
There will be a fireworks show at Roosevelt Field (South Pasadena High School) at 9:00 pm. Admission is $7.00 at the gate ($5.00 if purchased earlier at Garfield Park). Gates open at 5:30. Live entertainment, dancing and food service will be available until 8:30 pm.
